It might as well be a thousand

Children that I have that is. I might as well have a thousand children (even though it's only three) because that is what it feels like some days. "Snow Day" has a whole new meaning now that I'm on the other end of childhood. Don't get me wrong. I love the not feeding, dressing and piling three kids into the car before it's even light out part, but by about 11 am I am ready to poke my eyes out. It turns out that I still have to feed them 15 times a day anyway. It suddenly occurred to me that they could actually go outside and play in the snow--novel idea I know. As I watched them laugh and play in all the whiteness I actually felt sad that there couldn't be more days like this and fewer days filled with homework and lessons and the endless comings and goings in the car.

Hopefully they wore themselves out and you had a quite evening. It's windy and warm here in West Africa.

See you in a couple days!!

Was I not the one that said to bundle them up and let them play in the snow? A little credit please, would be appreciated.
